One Year of Being Held.
Held Between began in September… in that tender space where summer softens and fall begins to breathe. A season already shaped by transition, which feels fitting now. Because this blog was born from a transition too: a shift in identity, in healing, in the way I wanted to tell my story.
One year ago, I opened this space with quiet courage and a hope that the in‑between places of life deserved to be named. I didn’t know what Held Between would become. I only knew I needed somewhere to place the truths I was learning, the grief I was carrying, the growth I was choosing, and the softness I was trying to reclaim.
Now, twelve months later, I can see how much has changed.
Not loudly. Not all at once. But steadily, the way seasons change when you’re not paying attention. The way healing happens in the background of ordinary days. The way you look back and realize September‑2025 you wouldn’t recognize September‑2026 you, and that’s the quiet miracle of it all.
This space has held every part of that journey.
The messy parts.
The hopeful parts.
The brave parts.
The parts that felt too tender to say out loud until they were written here.
And you’ve held it with me. Every time you read, linger, share, or return, you become part of the heartbeat of this place. You make Held Between more than a blog, you make it a community of people learning to honor their own in‑between seasons.
So today, I’m celebrating one year of showing up.
One year of softness.
One year of courage.
One year of choosing growth over comfort.
One year of being held, even when life felt uncertain.
Thank you for being here. Thank you for letting these words meet you where you are. Thank you for stepping into year two with me, where the roots go deeper, the stories grow braver, and the in‑between continues to be a place worth staying awhile.
Here’s to one year of Held Between.
And to everything still unfolding.
